YOUR INJURY COULD BE… Cervical Strain REHAB YOUR INJURY BY… Posture: Lift shoulders up, back and down. This is a good posture to be in. Try to address any awkward posture that you have during your day such as talking on the phone with your neck bent sideways, etc. Icing: Wrap an ice pack around the back of your neck for approximately 15 minutes. Try to ice 2 to 3 times per day with one hour between icing. Gentle Shoulder Circles: Gently lifting your shoulders up, back and down and around. Gentle Neck Stretch: Slowly drop your ear to your shoulder and hold the stretch for 15 seconds. Then slowly drop your chin towards your armpit, holding this for 15 seconds.
