I have had low back pain for six months with sciatica down my left leg. They are finally willing to perform surgery. I would just like to know what to expect in terms of pain, recovery, things I can do to make life a little easier, etc. Thank you so much in advance!
My fiance’ has a pain in her lower back almost everyday. When i massage it i notice that her muscles are almost rock hard/knotted until i massage them. Her doctor has prescribed her with meloxicam which is an arthritis medicine, the medicine does not help at all any other suggestions, besides icy hot, or ibuprofen/pain meds or some sort of diagnosis?
53 yr f. has pain on inner left thigh near groin. Feels similar to sciatica. but is not. Had hernia surgery, but hernia was not cause of pain, since after 6 wks pain is worse. Frustrated and my GP is not much help. Not sure who to see next. Please help.
So I have a herniated disc in my back and my friends are all going snowboarding and I really want to go! I know I am going to fall and stuff, but how bad could that screw up my back? I played tackle football with my sorority a few months ago and it didn’t hurt my back too badly (I didnt know it was herniated then and I’ve had it since september) Do you think my choice in going snowboarding is a bad idea? thanks!
I have flat feet, which results in back/foot/leg pain and fatigue after standing still for long periods of time. I do have orthotic inserts for my shoes, but that doesn’t stop the pain.
What kind of medication could I talk to my doctor about regarding such an issue? Something that can relieve or possibly numb the pain but keep me coherent during extended periods of standing still? (like orthodox church services for example, which can last as long as 6 hours during the week of easter)
took him to the vets. they said its a soft tissue injury in his neck. steroids, muscle relaxers and pain med not working. now noticing his neck is getting smaller like hes loosing muscle mass and panting alot and peeing alot for like 2 min strait. He is still in alot of pain. The medicine is not working. I am taking him back tomorrow. could this be something else other than a neck injury?
My period arrived 6 days late and when it did, I had a normal flow for the first day only and then brown spotting for a week after. I have now suffered from menstrual-like cramps for 3 weeks and woke up today with bad back pain that hurts on my right side, roughly waist height. I have had urine and blood tests which came back negative. In the case of an ectopic pregnancy, would my back pain be lower? Thank you for any help you can offer!
